Drywall partition is used in all types of buildings as in private housing, flats and apartments, commercial and industrial buildings.
Drywall partition can function as high performance walls with features like fire resistance, sound insulation, impact resistance. The last photo of this posting illustrates a typical drywall steel framework which will make a strong wall when the system is installed with surface materials / panels on both sides. For surface materials, there are plaster boards which are moisture resistant, water resistant, fire resistant besides the standard gypsum board which is suitable under normal fire, structural and acoustic applications.
Gypsum board is mainly used in drywall partition system as the partition board. There are other cladding materials / sheets which can be installed on the framing such as calcium silicate board which is of high strength, moisture and decay resistant. Insulation can be added in between the studs to give extra sound insulation and fire resistance : for this we have rock wool and glass wool to meet the requirement.
The drywall partition in this posting is about 20'0" height and with the galvanised steel profiles as it's framework structure, the wall is strong, stable and sound insulated to meet the requirement as an amusement park in shopping complex.
